🆕 OpenRPG.de stellt vor: The Black Hack
The Black Hack (TBH) ist ein traditionelles Tischrollenspiel, das mit Papier, Stiften und Würfeln gespielt wird - dazu benutzt es das ursprüngliche Fantasy-Rollenspiel der 1970er als Grundlage. Allerdings werden ein paar Elemente hinzugefügt und andere weggelassen; dadurch entsteht eine eigene, elegante Variante des originalen Rollenspiels.

Question for #osr #theblackhack folks:
I'm planning on including an area in my West Marches game that's basically just a ripoff of the worm-chasm in the 2005 King Kong movie. Basically a pit full of oversized bugs and worms that try to eat anyone who falls inside.
Any suggestions on how to run that? Individual monsters seems like the wrong way to do it somehow. -

Infravision was an old hack of The Black Hack that I wrote and ran maybe 5-6 years ago.
I no longer use or maintain it, but a couple folks came to my website looking for it recently and found the link broken, so I've uploaded it to Itch.io.

If heroic PCs aren't what you'relooking for, I like Mark of the Odd games (like #IntoTheOdd ) the most similar version to 5e is #IntoTheDungeon:Revived

@Morgunin Ha, Palladium Fantasy was the first #ttrpg I ever played and GMed. And a lot of long campaigns in RIFTS. Many fond memories.
Wouldn't touch its horribly broken rules with a 10-ft-pole anymore, though. ;)
I think the 7 rpgs that had the most impact on me from then to now are:
