@inpector Warum sollte man seine Passwortdaten aus der Hand geben, egal wie gut er Ruf des Anbieters ist?
Ich nutze #KeePassXC. Es enthält neben alle Passwörtern auch die Daten für 2FA und Passkeys.
Die Passwort DB synchronisiere ich mit #Synthing auf alle meine Geräte.
Damit liegen meine Daten zu keiner Zeit in irgend einer Cloud.

Ooh, thanks for suggestions, testing out #synthing locally at this moment, and I see that fixes the "do I have to set up some kind of tunnel/ssh/reverse ssh" setup to handle backup (they use a stun server/relays for data sync, if necessary). Still may do that anyway so I can remote admin things, but handy to have it self-configure.

if I want to sychronize my .config files in two different #Linux devices, what would be the besteht way to achieve that? #synthing or #git ? Are there any simple setup guides for such use cases, strictlty focusing on .config directory?
