Sunday sword practice. Had a few friends over this morning to work through several messer/arming sword techniques. Here is a nice little sword disarm we were playing with. #HEMA #swordplay

Small note about stage combat with swords: it must _appear_ you are attacking the person, and they are attacking you, not that you are hitting or aiming for their sword.

Just saw the umpteenth fight where they were clearly waiting for parries before starting attacks, and that’s not the story.
