@kurtsh #StrangeNewWolds was cool, but i despised #Picard - largely because how they retconned the character and went full force into the edgy dystopian theme that I feel is sort of ruining #StarTrek.
It's not even new or inventive. #Hollywood has been doing that crap for decades now and quite frankly I've had enough.
But also, I liked #LowerDecks and #StarTrekProdigy especially.

The Strange New World episode Subspace Rhapsody was amazing. I clapped.
The "Once More, With Feeling" Buffy reference made my heart happy.
It had everything needed to make a musical nerd happy.

I've finally gotten around to starting Star Trek Strange New Worlds, and I love it! Not sure why I hadn't watched it before, but quite glad I started. It's quickly become my favourite of the new Trek series.
I could definitely see this being another show that I could re-watch endlessly

#StarTrek #StrangeNewWolds season 2 premiere was entertaining and lots of fun (perhaps a little heavy on the fistfights) with the exception of the heavy compression. Come on #ParamountPlus, the banding in the blacks looks like early HD compression.

I know I have been very critical of #StrangeNewWolds but "A Quality of Mercy" is likely the most awesome Trek episode for a very long time. At least, I really loved it.
I guess the fact that it's based on my favourite TOS episode has a lot to do with why I loved this so much.

Always have seen the Enterprise as an ideal or symbol never a character. But in #StrangeNewWolds it comes off as one.
