I think we'll all hold our plushies extra tight tonight.
This was the episode in Star Trek that strained my suspension of disbelief the most. I'm usually accepting of "unusual" premises and go along for the ride. Some scenes here though were difficult to watch. It turning into a dream helped some, but was a partly disappointing. I did see that we were in Spock's character arc and that part is fine. 1/2

I honestly wonder if Ethan Peck is somewhat disappointed there wasn’t a puppet made in Spock’s likeness.

It’s kind of too bad the puppet episode of #StarTrek #StrangeNewWorlds #SNW turned out to be a dream.
Think of the awesome retcon opportunity as to why the TOS Enterprise had all physical buttons. Worry of future events making touch screens nonviable. Obviously the worry (or better technology) let Starfleet go back to touch screens some time prior to TNG.
