I found Erica Ortegas' impression of Scotty's accent in the shuttle in #StarTrekSNW's "Tomorrow's Enterprise"⬆️ rather funny. She uses the expression "bucket of bolts", a phrase he would later use to talk about the USS Excelsior in "Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home"⬇️😊.

Here's a good look at the playing cards used by the 2263 Enterprise bridge crew during their ready/conference room poker session at the end of #StarTrekSNW's "Tomorrow's Enterprise".

I love the first bridge shot in #StarTrekSNW's "Tomorrow's Enterprise" of Pike and La'An standing close to the viewscreen, looking at the white hole. Both the audience and Pike have known his fate for a long time now, but what happens to La'an - we'll find out in season 5! 🙈

“Spock’s Brain” held the record for being the worst episode of #StarTrek of all time for 60 years. Now, pick any recent episode of #StrangeNewWorlds and we have a new winner. They write SNW for absurdity and comedy so much (especially Spock) it’s like someone said “Hey, let’s get Seth Rogen high and have him write season 4!”
Now I’m wistfully looking back at the halcyon days of #Trek when they actually hired science-fiction writers to write the show. #StarTrekSNW

We're a week behind, so I just watched this. I love it. 1. Uhura was wonderful. Both Uhuras. And both Pike and Kirk figuring her out was just brilliant. 2. I loved all the bits where we see various characters get reminded of the losses of their friends. Kirk's face when past-Uhura just blithely assumes La'an is around, wow. That moment with no speech was worth a lot. And various people's grief over Scotty. I loved it all the more since it's all fixed at the end. 3. Uhura and Scotty were so cute together as a couple! Especially at the end when she really seriously kissed him. 4. I loved all the development that's happened in Uhura's character in the intervening year, and that everyone talks about it. 5. Live-action Caitian and various other TAS species! 6. Uhura as the problem-solver at the center of a time paradox. 6. The space baby is the same species as the Bajoran Prophets, right? Like we just found out sort of where the Prophets come from? As much of a suspension of disbelief as it required, I really liked Uhura helping the space baby get born with the remote gloves. 7. Hair. Wow. I don't know how Christine can manage that thing. This was so much fun to see though. And wow, those fingernails for future Uhura! Overall, I enjoyed the whole season, wacky genres all the more, and I liked this episode even more. #StarTrek #StarTrekSNW #StarTrekStrangeNewWorlds

The way 2263 Chapel talks to Uhura about marrying Roger Korby in #StarTrekSNW's "Tomorrow's Enterprise"⬆️ is a very nice bridge to #StarTrekTOS' 2266 episode "What Are Little Girls Made Of?"⬇️ and the way Chapel reacts when she hears Korby's voice and when Uhura then kisses her goodbye. 😊

The red wine the 2262 Enterprise crew is drinking at the end of #StarTrekSNW's "Tomorrow's Enterprise" is "Crimson Cask Sangiovese". Of course, I didn't immediately buy three bottles of Sangiovese to enjoy with my friends on our weekly #StarTrek nights. Of course not! 😋😋

I love the way Ethan Peck played "1-year-in-the-future" (2263) Spock in #StarTrekSNW's "Tomorrow's Enterprise"↖️. This was very reminiscent of Spock in "Amok Time"↗️, "Journey to Babel"⬅️, "By Any Other Name"➡️, "Patterns of Force"↙️, "Star Trek IV"↘️ and many others, talking about humans... :-)

Graphic image! It's rather curious how, in one future timeline, Scotty dies because he is impaled by shards of transparent aluminum from an exploding console in #StarTrekSNW's "Tomorrow's Enterprise"⬇️➡️, a material he helped create in "Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home"⬆️⬅️. 😅

Both in future Uhura's quarters in #StarTrekSNW's "Tomorrow's Enterprise"⬆️ and in #StarTrekTOS' "The Tholian Web"⬇️ (but also earlier in "Elaan of Troyius"), there's a decorative zebra blanket on Uhura's bed. This is a nice touch of continuity. :-)
