Snuck in dark mode and a much better mobile layout, which were easier than I thought they'd be. #ssotax

Have been on a tear for the last few days fixing up and adding some stuff to https://sso.tax I'd been putting off for... some time.

- PR bot now validates submissions for schema and math
- Footnotes are gone! Replaced with popovers, saves space on the site, makes the notes easier to track, and means no dealing with weird [^syntax]
- Removed some old dependencies on JS and GH actions
- Real-time search/filtering
- Improved the docs
- More but I ran out of toot space

Between price increases and my concerns about what a private equity buyout does to a company, I'm moving the domain registration for sso.tax. Historically these moves haven't broken domain resolution for any period of time, but if the site does blip that'll be why. #ssotax

I was reading through my newsletters last night and saw that @tailscale is dropping their SSO tax!

Everyone who is affected by the #ssotax needs to do a few things:

* Read the post and hear what made a difference
* Share the post with every vendor that is charging you for SSO
* Demand better service and support from your vendors

Also - if you use tailscale, use every chance you can to share what they are doing and why it matters to your business.

I am not a tailscale user or customer, yet. I have been scoping them out and had been pretty impressed but this kinda sealed the deal for my needs.

Neat to see the Tailscale folks update their pricing to remove surcharges for SSO #ssotax https://tailscale.com/blog/sso-tax-cut (I never got around to merging the PRs that would have put them on the website, but I have now closed them.)

There are a lot of things Mike writes that are solid but 2 things he has written about always hit home, this is one of them.
