  1. @ahasty @ati1 @linmob You should be able to use #Thunderbird for #PGP encrypted email (with mobile-config-thunderbird), or webmail instance that supports it like #SnappyMail or any other webmail using #Mailvelope extension in Firefox.

Not sure about #YubiKey, #NitroKey or alternatives as I've never used any, but they should connect to the Librem's USB-C port. The #Librem5 has a slot for a PGP smart card ( #LibremKey ?) to store private keys so you could also use that. Hopefully, someone who's used that can see your question and answer, or you can ask in Purism forums or pmOS Matrix room.

  2. @homegrown @delta Apparently, you can have encrypted chats with users using other email clients that support the #Autocrypt standard like @k9mail and #Snappymail webmail. Tried with K-9 a while back and it worked great.

  3. I've had my own email at a domain for many years, and I've tried using GUI webmail interfaces a few times. However, they've always been much slower to load messages than ssh->mutt.

I've tried #Roundcube, #Horde, and (currently) #SnappyMail (which is built off of #Rainloop), and they all perform about the same.

    What am I missing here?

    #rainloop #snappymail #webmail

  5. Just noticed @disroot has replaced with !

I was a bit suspicious at first, but turns out Snappy Mail is a fork of Rainloop designed to work better with mobile browsers 📱

Good going, although I normally access email through and . I suppose my emergency from-a-borrowed-phone mail check-ins will be that much smoother 🤪
