Presumably stemming from the aggressive monkey-dung slinging episodes at the zoo, "shit fight" refers to a complete mess, where you have clutter or other unwanted matter all over the place (see: "from arsehole to breakfast").

Usage example: "Ow! Fuck! I just stepped on another fucking piece of Lego! Clean up this shit fight! You've got Lego, underwear, books, toys 'n' shit from arsehole to breakfast!"
