  1. Wow. Measured by boardings, route 49 is the far-away winner for 2024, at the top of the list for most months.

    I guess BRT (opened in 2022) is really paying off!

    N Judah was top of the heap in 2019 before COVID threw a wrench into everything and still maintains a respectable 2nd place.

    Given higher costs for tunnels and rail maintenance that's gotta be frustrating to see BRT take over the top spot from light rail.

  3. I keep thinking that #sfmuni should look at how to reduce travel times on key routes. I first saw how the Chicago L had a skip-stop strategy ( an A and a B train that shared a stop every few stations) and how it reduced travel times. Now I read about #Superloop buses to reduce travel times, to great acclaim, it appears.

    Can SF learn from these examples? It's essential to greater mode shift.
