L’Observatoire de Paris, dans le XIVe arrondissement de Paris. Le bâtiment Perrault construit entre 1667 et 1672, est vu ici depuis la cour nord, avec la statue d’un des directeurs de l’observatoire, Urbain Le Verrier(1811-1877) qui lui tourne le dos. Sur le toit à gauche, on aperçoit la coupole Arago.

Not all of my drawings turn out well. In January I made one which I find downright gloomy.
That day it was grey and cold outside and I was in a rotten mood and stressed. I only made the drawing because I had some free time, my watercolor travels set was in my suitcase and I'm stubborn.
At least I learned something from it: Next time I'm in such kind of mood, I'd better do some #doodling or make #NeurographicArt
That will definitely improve my mood.

This is a friends house. She saw me drawing and came over for a chat. She thought it was funny that I had even drawn the cat stairs. (It's the plank leaning against the tree.) I had no idea what it was when I drew it, but I drew it anyway. 😄

Yesterday, I tried drwaing while standing for the first time. The lines became very shaky and I almost got a cramp in my hand from holding the #sketchbook (A5)
Probably smaller sketchbooks are easier to hold?

Two days later, I went there in the evening to draw the maypole.
Yellow and blue are the colors of my village. The 14 guild signs depict the old professions that were formerly practiced here. In fact, there are some that I cannot name with certainty.

A few days later I sat in front of the barn that was shown in the previous drawing.
This house belongs to a farming family. The farmers wife saw ma drawing the house and came over for a chat. She was pleased that I drew her childhood home.
She came back to me and gave me a bag of apples.
This drawing isn't one of my favorits. It's a bit boring. I used the #neocolor2 too diffidently/cautious. Normally, Neocolor 2 colors are very vibrant.

"Pistolen-Schuss bei Fußballspiel: Anklage gegen Polizisten"
Drei Dinge überraschen mich:
1. Dass überhaupt Anklage erhoben wird, klar. Aber es steht wohl "bedingter Vorsatz" im Raum, also Rumspielen mit der Waffe bspw.
2. Die kurze Ermittlungszeit. Fünf Monate sind bei so einem Verfahren wohl ungewöhnlich.
3. Dass der Fall direkt beim Landgericht eingereicht wurde, da die ja eher für höhere zu erwartende Strafmaße zuständig sind.
