Living in tents is extremely difficult and requires immense effort. Our suffering is even greater in the summer with the lack of water, high temperatures, and intense sun. Urban Sketchers announced their Symposium location for next year... Toronto Canada!
On the one hand I'd really love to go to a place that's not as familiar to me. Somewhere out of the country perhaps.
ON THE OTHER, with hubby unable to travel due to PR... this one might actually be attainable for me. Even if he's working and can't join me, the solo travel would be much easier.
So yeah, hoping to be in TO next summer!

Hot day... But the morning was perfect for sketching. I don't enjoy the heat, but the world seems to call me to go out and paint.
It's rough and feels unfinished, but at some point I had to flee outside.
Statistics of the day:
- drank a great iced tea
- saved 1 wasp from drowning in said iced tea
- saw 1 cormorant
- 4 small sketches done
