Am reading the #Teixcalaan series by @ArkadyMartine and am struck over and over at the extraordinary poetry of the prose:
"Mahit followed her easily, thinking of flowers that turn towards sunlight and less pleasant tropisms- gravity wells ..."

It's not just the phrase, it's the setting it grew out of.
This is writing that was creation revisited in order to dress to perfection.

I strongly recommend this series.

Update 2: I enjoyed The Time Migration. The moral conflict in 2018-04-01 was provocative. The end of Contraction was perfect in audiobook. In all, I’m glad to have listened, but also ready to send it back (to the library).
