Someone on Tiktok was asking around if it's possible to *buy* the episodes of The Magnus Archives just as long as they came without any of the ads, sponsors, or plugs.
And I understand being sick of ads. So much so that a while back I sat down for a few hours and edited them down.
Starts and ends with creepy cello music, nothing else. The zip is like 6GB. If anyone here would be interested in that, please get in touch! -

Sooo what do we think of The Magnus Protocol?
I LOVED The Archives but man, The Protocol feels... slow. And over-engineered. OK we get the 'you're being recorded from inside a cupboard' effect but man it's annoying when it stops you from hearing dialogue. And don't even think about listening without headphones - totally inaudible.
Which is SUCH A SHAME because wow, The Archives were just -chef's kiss-.
I'm hanging in there with The Protocol out of loyalty to The Archives and it seems I'm not alone (judging from a bunch of reviews online). Maybe it'll get interesting? After episode [checks notes] 18?

Just listened to the first three episodes of #TheMagnusProtocol, the sequel series to The Magnus Archive from #RustyQuill. I’ve really enjoyed what I’ve heard so far and am looking forward to more.
It seems the victims in episodes 2 and 3 don’t seem to recognise they’re being corrupted, which feels different from how it worked in #TheMagnusArchive. Maybe that means the Fears work differently here?

I'm AJ Fidalgo, also known as Mr. F. He/him.
I'm a middle-aged professional, husband, and (newish) father living in the Philadelphia area. (I don't talk about my private life here though, so... 😝)
I'm an #AudioDrama and #ActualPlay #podcast fan leader.
