This is so, so cool - a combination of tablet and rigid heddle weaving.

The "rigid heddle" is made up of a stack of plastic "tablets". How they are combined determines what patterns can be woven. Basically the tablets make up the shafts of a multi shaft loom. Though you can't lift several shafts - or something.

Ich bin nach wie vor uneingeschränkter #Debian-Fan (dem Original, #Ubuntu ist aus Gründen mittlerweile komplett ausgemustert)

Ich möchte aber mal wieder mit #RedHat spielen, hat mich früher (0er Jahre) schon immer fasziniert aber irgendwas hat immer nicht richtig gepasst & bin immer wieder zu Debian zurück.
Im Laufe der Zeit ist #RHL verschwunden zu Gunsten von #CentOS, was es auch nicht mehr gibt. #Fedora kommt nicht in Frage (aus Gründen)

Still #weaving on my scarf. I now know, why you always get told to center your project on the loom. It's way easier to beat at an angle, if it's off center. Just warping until you run out of yarn isn't the best idea.

With weaving every step needs quite a bit more planning than I'm used with knitting or crochet.

Another, valuable lesson.

Progress on my weaving project. If emptied the first shuttle, about 25% of the weft yarn.

The selvedges are getting better, although I still see room for improvement.

With using the same yarn for warp and weft there isn't a lot to see about the twill, but i like the a bit more drapy fabric compared to tabby weave so it's worth the extra effort.

Third time's the charm.

It's my third attempt weaving 2/1 #twill on my #RHL (rigid heddle loom). The first and second time I made errors during the threading stage and had to re-thread the whole thing at least once. But this time it went smoothly from the get go. I still had to use a threading plan, but it seems I've now found one, that I understand and that is easy to follow. Or I just was more focused. Whatever.

On to #weaving.
