Third time's the charm.
It's my third attempt weaving 2/1 #twill on my #RHL (rigid heddle loom). The first and second time I made errors during the threading stage and had to re-thread the whole thing at least once. But this time it went smoothly from the get go. I still had to use a threading plan, but it seems I've now found one, that I understand and that is easy to follow. Or I just was more focused. Whatever.
On to #weaving.

So, states that have legalized Marijuana have just given up on the federal government doing it. Texas has decided they'll take on resettling refugees elsewhere on their own. I'm so excited cash bail is ended today in IL. And while I do have some empathy for counties in Southern Illinois maybe struggling to get everyone hearings 48 hours after arrest (some don't have permanent judges, let alone defense attorneys), if they hadn't fought this tooth and nail for the past few years it took to implement, maybe they could have been preparing instead. #chicago #twill #illinois
