Maybe it ought to be illegal to manufacture a product *and* charge money for repairing it? Allowing warranty repairs at no charge is a no-brainer, as is (non-monopoly) supply of spare parts. But there is a perverse incentive inherent in allowing design and manufacture, *and* aftermarket repairs, to be integrated in one business.

Successfully restored the chorus function in the #Juno6 today. It's been getting increasingly noisy for the last year, which is apparently a fault they're developing as the original Panasonic MN3009 #BBD chips degrade. Replaced with XVive MN3009s (socketed). Seems to work perfectly, immediately. This is the first repair (rather than contact cleaning) it's needed in 43 years.
(I didn't last anywhere near that long without intervention.)

Does a socket handle which is like a crank/winch handle exist? And does it have a special name?
I’m looking for a simple version of the one in the picture (so without the torque multiplier). Needs to be able to have standard sockets popped on the end.
Any ideas? Interweb searches haven’t brought much back, but I might just not know the name of them thing I’m looking for…

The final product, screwed in place. The boat's 6 hp outboard motor will attach to this. Between this front piece and the metal piece behind it (shown earlier), there's a nice stable place to attach the motor.
