These are the first #US #deaths from measles reported in 2026 and the first in Pennsylvania in 35 years.

Heads UP Claude users. Watermarks are coming!

New Claude models launched from August 2 will embed invisible watermarks in generated text and they are designed to be imperceptible.

The watermark will travel with the text when it’s copied and pasted elsewhere and may survive some editing. Also, the mark isn’t tied to where you use Claude. Supported models accessed through AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Foundry will also embed the watermark.

There are many industrial workers who use hazardous materials in their daily tasks. They wear protective equipment and follow safety protocols, as prescribed by applicable regulations.

Today, #IT practitioners use AI as a matter of course. AI has the potential to cause catastrophic harm globally. Its invidious impact is insidious to a great extent: once its harmful consequences have become discernible, the damage is irreversible. For example, the presidential elections in 2016 and 2024.

U.S. Gov's FAA is proposing to amend space launch licensing regulations to "reduce regulatory burden" for space operators.

The proposed rule would waive requirements from 13 federal laws for certain commercial space licenses including: National Environmental Policy Act, the Endangered Species Act, parts of the Clean Water Act, the Clean Air Act, the National Historic Preservation Act, the Marine Mammal Protection Act and several other and natural resource laws.
