Microsoft might have taken action on PolyMC?
Or one of the people that was ousted by the fashy/transphobic/queerphobic/anti-left person who hijacked PolyMC still had the Microsoft account associated with the consent issuing or identification process used by the launcher?
(I'm very much not a Microsoft services person, so this speculation is likely bollocks, but I'd be interested to know if that's how third party Microsoft login permissions work.)
Either way, my accounts have been logged out and, checking there are no auth tokens active on either per https://account.live.com/consent.
It can't have just timed out, as I last used it with online auth last night - was playing MC when the furore went down.
Meanwhile, the other contributors have forked it into PrismLauncher over at https://github.com/PlaceholderMC/PrismLauncher/

Mitten in der Nacht noch ein harter Schlag im #Minecraft Universum.
Der Maintainer von #PolyMC schließt alle seine Kollegen vom Projekt aus und entfernt die Contribution Guidelines aus dem Repository, mit der Intension alle "Leftoids" (Personen die mit der linken Ideologie sympatisieren) aus dem Projekt zu entfernen. ☹️
Was anfangs wie eine Übernahme seines Kontos aussieht, zeigt sich als seine harte und echte Meinung.

Wtf is going on with #polymc ? Some saying maintainer accounts are compromised, others are accusing the maintainers of transphobic comments. I haven't seen the comments themselves, just the third party reactions, so I can't comment on whether or not that is the case. Regardless, what's going on?
I only discovered #polymc a few weeks ago when my #steamdeck arrived and it was a godsend to install the multiple mods needed for performance and joystick controls.
