    Ugh. Trying to play a bit of #minecraft and the launcher says I need to install. Click on the install button and .... nothing. It get stuck on "waiting on install"

    Does anyone know where the #MinecraftLauncher stores the Java runtime on macOS/Linux? Trying to use it in cases where there's no other JRE on the system (specifically github.com/Fabulously-Optimize)

    and/or website to deliver malware through the launcher, which could put any user of PolyMC at risk. Because of this, we strongly encourage that any users of PolyMC either stop using the launcher or immediately uninstall it from their computer for the time being. When we have confirmation that the launcher is safe again to use, we will provide an update.
