@rachaelspooky that is an entire #PluralThings mood right there. also for the most part it's nobody else's business (except for our spouse) who was fronting at any given point in time.

I hate my memory #PluralThings, because sometimes it's hard to tell and the tape is fuzzy.
I could have sworn I asked my top surgeon about getting a mammogram because we have a family history of breast cancer, which indicates one even in your thirties.
secondly because our breasts have lost density due to testosterone we no longer know what is a normal self-exam.
it's much harder to detect breast cancer post-top surgery, and any abnormalities could affect the surgery, which I'm aware of.
but what we think happened is that the memory from a visit to our primary care doctor got superimposed and now we are fumbling around to actually try to get this to happen and not be missed.

more #PluralThings as I'm getting ready for bed tonight.
he was very respectful about it, and didn't immediately try to ask us who was fronting or which one was the original or any of the numerously stupid questions that people ask upon finding out that I'm plural.
we also decided that our names are not any of our therapist's business, and not something that we want to be explaining. largely because we would then have to explain fictives and there's a lot of controversial things about fictive parts that we don't want to invite in to our therapy environment.
this is also I think our therapist's first exposure to any kind of plurality, because he's a relatively new associate early in his hours. was very careful to explain that although we do have diagnosed OSDD 1, we don't consider it really to be a problem, just a fact of life that we get to deal with.
it doesn't interfere with our life much, and in no way shape or form are we interested in any sort of integration. even if that was actually possible (we have a lot of doubt about so-called integration, okay).
we turned back to what we usually do and used Internal Family Systems roles to describe different parts of our system. and this time we took notes on who gets slotted into what to prevent confusion later on.
but at least we found something to talk about.

this is a draft from Thursday we found in our drafts because it didn't post. oops!
in today's #PluralThings we accidentally ended up being honest with our therapist from our treatment center about our plurality.
because he had asked if I felt like I have to put on an act all the time. and I could have just not explained, but it was a good enough question and he listens well enough.
I appreciate that both my counselor and my therapist there are people I feel that comfortable with. but.
I would like to know before I go splurt my deepest secrets to someone I haven't even known for three whole months fml.

My favorite thing about being an #alter and having a #host who's super smart is that I can pretend like I know everything that she knows even though she went to #gradSchool and I didn't. 😹
Today I was talking about specific brain nuclei. Until today I had NO IDEA what nuclei were in the brain. I thought someone had just misspelled the word for the big middle part of an atom! 😅

OK, so being a #plural and also literally being your system's memory keeper is TOTALLY cheating. This is my first time, but I already know every single mechanic for every single mob in #Bozja by heart.
It's like I watched and memorized every video for every fight ever before coming in here, only the videos are of my #host continually dying to the mechs I'm dodging like a #BOSS.
