  1. trying out the TextDiffing package that #pipilo uses for showing post edit history

  4. @Geekman i’m really liking the #Pipilo app on iOS it’s not perfect, but I like the different interface. It’s got a horizontal scrolling timeline, and for voiceover users there’s a picker item in the bottom left-hand corner that makes it really easy to flick through post. The interface design makes it really great for resuming where you left uff. The developers constantly making improvements. So I’m hoping the notification screen matches the timeline at some point in the near future.

  5. #Pipilo has a neat preview option for profile links

  6. Version 1.6 of #Pipilo on #iOS is out. Pipilo is a unique Fediverse app where you view posts one at a time in a horizontal timeline.

The update implements Liquid Glass design, adds support for custom (animated) emojis, and changes cross-device position synchronization to work automatically without the need for confirmation each time.

  7. In next version you'll be able to collapse media descriptions in full screen viewer. The collapsed state will be remembered across launches.

@karlos should solve your recent request.

  8. Final screen updated to Liquid Glass is the main screen. Needed a little bit of padding, more rounded corners, extra icons and I think my custom bottom sheet turned out pretty good.

  9. This week updated user profiles and hashtag timelines. Again main change is to convert bottom sheets into small floating glass toolbars.

  10. Next up is Post Composer. Here, similarly, the bottom area was replaced with floating toolbars. Additionally, I moved the account preview to the header.
Not a lot of changes, but it feels like there is more room for text now. Especially on iPad.

  11. Started updating design of @pipilo to Liquid Glass. First up are notifications.
Replaced expandable bottom sheet with floating calendar and simplified filtering, which is now a menu placed in top toolbar.

  12. Version 1.5 of #Pipilo on #iOS is out. Pipilo is a unique Fediverse app where you view posts one at a time in a horizontal timeline.

  13. @liaizon Yeah, the data format is flexible, but you won't see the additional platform support except from filtering the platform list on the left. Right now fedicat is the only entry that has multiple platforms in its JSON entry but a lot of them could have more (there are a bunch that support both pleroma and mastodon, and #pipilo is based on #tootsdk so it supports several).

  14. Version 1.4 of #Pipilo on #iOS is out. Pipilo is a unique Fediverse app where you view posts one at a time in a horizontal timeline.

The update adds timeline pinning for quick access, new timeline types like hashtag groups or remote timelines, and easier notification access via a bottom bar entry.

  15. Update on #Friendica access on #mobile: I got it to work with #Pipilo on #iOS and #Tusky on #Android, so I'm all set there. Not sure why it wouldn't work with #Metatext, but I've got *something* that works, so I'm satisfied. And it works OK with #Tweesecake on #PC, too.

  16. This has to be said again. I am really loving the #Pipilo mastodon client. I love its interface and the developer has taken extra care to make sure it’s accessible to voiceover users.

  17. A little improvement. Now that there is a dedicated row for pinned timelines I decided to move the button to view all of them here. This leaves room to place notifications in bottom bar.

  18. Interessante Unsetzung, dieses horizontale Scrolling. Hilft den Fokus auf das jeweilige Posting zu setzen. Man liest dann eher wie in einem Feedreader. #Pipilo

  19. Small preview of what’s coming in next version of #Pipilo (my Fediverse app with horizontal timeline).
Timeline pinning, hashtag groups and remote timelines.

  20. @mcg ok, thanks for the info, I'll check them out. I know someone added the API support to TootSDK, I think it was the dev for #pipilo, so they may have it too.

  21. I saw the latest update of #Pipilo gives you control of link previews. You can do the same in #Fedicat via the app settings by toggling Show Card.

  22. Version 1.3 of #Pipilo on #iOS is out. Pipilo is a unique Fediverse app where you view posts one at a time in a horizontal timeline.

Main new features are bookmarks support, upgraded link previews with inline YouTube videos, navigation by tapping screen edges, post translation, post deleting, and collapsible post threads.

  23. The amazing thing about open source services is, you can create interfaces for it the way you imagine them best. Currently testing #Pipilo, an iOS Fediverse client by @luckkerr which presents each timeline as a horizontal bar you swipe through to get to the next post. From a VoiceOver perspective, a slider control is presented and you explore the posts by swiping up and down, then explore the screen to discover things like links, replies in the corresponding thread, attached multimedia. Łukasz also makes sure that everything works correctly with VO and more goodies are already there in the current Testflight build. Glad to see this level of attentiveness to accessibility and a fellow Polish person coding fedithings. Give it a try. apps.apple.com/pl/app/pipilo/i #Accessibility #A11y #Blind #iOSDev
