Just found my entire subculture of #Physcomitrium from last week has bacterial contamination. I have not had an entire prep turn out this bad before, so not sure what happened. Thankfully the older preps remain uncontaminated to start fresh from.

2月15日にtootした、うちで育てているコケ。
すくすく育って、丸い蒴が出来てきた!! 🥳
蒴柄が1.5㎝以上に伸びてきたので、このコケは#コツリガネゴケ かもしれない (perhaps #Physcomitrium japonicum)
