Do screening recommendations for prostate cancer fall short?
The current guidelines are to perform annual PSA tests for men between the ages of 55–69, whereas no screening is recommended for men 70 years of age or older.
The rationale behind this cessation of screening? Because #ProstateCancer can take several years to develop and reach advanced stages, men with a life expectancy of less than 10 years are unlikely to experience any extension of lifespan by screening for such a slow-progressing disease, as something else will probably kill them first.

I know what to do
