    My absolute musical hero.
    No songwriter has ever had a greater impact on my life than Bob.
    Whether it be Husker Du, Sugar, or his solo albums, Bob’s impact on my life could never truly be measured.
    I owe the entirety of my creative life to him.

    This run of six albums that Bob’s been on has been nothing short of miraculous. From Silver Age straight up to this year’s Here We Go Crazy, Bob has been as big, melodic, angry and vital sounding as ever.

    Of these last six phenomenal records, this one is my favorite. Every single song is incredible. From the opening notes of “Voices In My Head”, it DOES NOT LET UP.

    “Hold On” might be my favorite Bob song ever not named “Egooverride”.

    When Bob passes on, there will be a part of me that breaks that will never be repaired.
