Had a lovely little mapping party at Tambaram Market at Chennai, India today! ๐บ๏ธ
Three of us: Hash_96, Thanga Ayyanar, and @sivaraam spent the evening walking the market, surveying shops, and adding what was missing to OpenStreetMap. Between us we logged 42 changesets and touched over 220 map features.
Grateful for the company and the not-so hot weather.

OSM Chennai Mapping Party No.3 done ๐
2 mappers (Me & @sivaraam) 26 changesets. 144 edits.We traced pathways through Koyambedu markets, tagged shops, ATMs, a bank, greengrocer stalls, gates, and road surfaces.

Mapping Party at Mylapore Market โ May 17th
We had a small but productive mapping party at Mylapore Market on May 17th, with three mappers hitting the streets to capture what's on the ground.
Between 3 of us, we pushed 57 changesets across the area. Shops and places got the most attention with 96 edits โ names, types, opening hours, whether they still exist.

Recently, I had the opportunity to conduct a field mapping activity in Mumbai, specifically in the rapidly expanding region of Mira Bhayandar.
Working with a small but highly motivated team, we used the ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐๐ผ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ฝ to map critical infrastructure and retail ecosystems on the ground.
