Least fun part of organizing an #OpenStreetMap #MappingParty - calling people up to invite them.
There's always a staggering amount of people who _give me their number_ _after expressing interest_ in attending mapping parties...and then don't answer calls, don't call or text back... 🙄
If someone's making the effort to call and ask, you can make the effort to say "No."

Nous partîmes 500, ou plutôt 3, et nous terimnâmes 6 pour cette première rencontre OSM du groupe local de Rouen.
On a pu visiter en long et en large le centre de la ville aux cent clochers, essayer d’aider des gens à trouver leur chemin, admirer la faune et la flore locale parfois déguisée en furry, tester des applis comme Vespucci et EveryDoor, faire près de 2h de capture avec la gopro max à pied et 1h15 de captures supplémentaires avec OpenCamera en ventouse en voiture, dans les villes voisines ainsi qu’avec les petites routes pour aller et venir dans les patelins voisins et l’A13.
Les envois de photos vers panoramax de 4500 photos simples et le jointement de 5500 photos de gopro sont en cours.J’ai donc pu aussi réaliser des captures dans la gare de Rouen et découvir le métro gratuit le weekend, puis circuler à Déveille les Rouen, Maromme, Darnetal, Saint Léger du bourg denis avant de repartir par l’A13 sous des torrents de flotte.
Quelques goodies ont été distribuées, il faudra que je fasse le plein avec le peuple de Montrouge pour la prochaine rencontre.
L’ambiance était top, on s’est relayé a plusieurs pour tenir la gopro telle une flamme olympique. On a eu la chance d’avoir des gens particulièrement intéressés par OSM et qui pouvaient nous faire visiter des chouettes lieux cachés entre les murs de maisons typiques des façades normandes aux poutres visibles en façade et découvrir un peu de l’histoire locale.
On a eu la chance d’avoir du soleil pendant la journée, et on ne manquera pas d’y revenir. On a des cyclistes et des gens de fablab locaux qui seraient probablement intéressés pour venir également :wink:Merci tout le monde et au plaisir!

Unsere Mappingparty war ein voller Erfolg!
Wir sind mit 12 Leutis in drei Gruppen zwei Stunden durch Kiel gezogen. Hat super Spaß gemacht, neue Menschen kennengelernt und die Karte ein wenig vollständiger gemacht. Es hat sogar fast nicht geregnet ;)
