I was just told that an Ontario Works worker asked a client if they identified as LGBTQ+.

I did a bunch of searching and as far as I can tell, they are legally not allowed to ask that?

Am I wrong?

PLEASE boost this as much as possible.

"Within OW, an individual receives $343 to cover their basic needs and $390 to cover shelter, with some increases to these amounts for couples and households with dependants."

The maximum annual allowance a #disabled person on #ODSP is expected to live on in #Ontario. Someone on #OntarioWorks gets half this. It’s not a social safety net, it’s a shackle and chain.
