    My favorite 2fa tool #OneTimePass is no longer maintained, so I talked my workplace into buying me a couple of #YubiKees. Pew! That was a lot of work to re-register this new 2FA on every website/service I use.
    I 'm sure it was worth the hassle, but I hope that it works without quirks. I have a vague feeling that the YubiKee OTP app (for websites not supporting hardware keys) is not quite as stable as I would like.

    I wish people would stop calling a app "google authenticator" There is so many other better implementations and many people believe that the corp can read the app. I myself use which allow for encrypted backup to other devices.

    CW: Online banking with Sparkasse?

    Anyone here with experience in online banking with Sparkasse (the German saving bank)?

    Their official S-pushTAN app is proprietary. Do you know if it is compatible with standard #TOTP clients like #OneTimePass? Do you know alternative apps in @fdroidorg ? Or alternative banks 😄 that are free-software compatible?

    (I heard SMS-TAN will be phased out this year so there will only be #chipTAN or #pushTAN)
