Anstatt #OneCalendar verwende ich mittlerweile lieber #KashCal, weil dieser die gleichen Farben in den Terminen/Einträgen nimmt, wie #NextCloud

#KashKal nutze ich seit kurzem und bin sehr begeistert. Davor hatte ich #OneCalendar genutzt, der hat aber sein eigenes Farbsystem...
Beides mit direkter Anbindung an #NextCloud

For notes, I'm using #Nextcloud Notes to sync and work in the browser, with the NextCloud Notes Android app and the #GNOME app #Iotas in desktop.

Iotas doesn't save notes as .md files. Instead it uses a SQLite database but is great exporting notes as PDF, ODT, HTML and MD.

I'm still keeping #QOwnNotes in the mix, but I haven't yet set up the Nextcloud desktop app to sync with my Linux system.

#OneCalendar, Iotas and #Thunderbird sync with Nextcloud without requiring extra apps.

#OneCalendar's secret weapon is that you don't need a separate DAV app to sync the calendar with #Nextcloud.

I'm now doing my calendar with #OneCalendar on Android and #Nextcloud for sync and the Web browser. I'm using #Thunderbird to run the calendar on desktop, but I'm also open to exploring other apps for Linux. Next step: a new second-factor authentication app #degoogle

A big plus is, that #KashCal uses the same Color-System like NextCloud

Today I synced my #Nextcloud #calendar with #Thunderbird. Just like with the #OneCalendar Android app, I generated an "app password" in Nextcloud at the bottom of `Settings -> Security`. Worked instantly.

Now I have a not-Google calendar in Thunderbird on the desktop and OneCalendar for mobile.

I'm not 100% happy with OneCalendar and will be shopping around for more mobile apps. OneCalendar seems to miss the ability to make an event repeat. Unless I'm missing it ...

KashCal is using the same Color-System as NextCloud.

Today I'm trying the #OneCalendar Android app with #Nextcloud. I got it to work with a one-time password. Let's see if it keeps working. https://www.onecalendar.nl/

Ik ben zo blij met #OneCalendar dat ik de #GoogleCalendar app van het scherm van mijn telefoon heb gehaald. Daar staat nu alleen nog maar OneCalendar.
En ik ben er achter gekomen dat ik met https://example.org/apps/calendar/dayGridMonth/now/new/popover/0/1742151600/1742152800 een popup krijg om een afspraak in #NextCloud te maken. Begin en eindtijd kunnen worden opgegeven in secondes na 1969. Maar titel en zo niet.
Er is een pull request https://github.com/nextcloud/calendar/pull/2263 waardoor je ook titel en omschrijving mee zou kunnen geven, maar die is al bijna vijf jaar oud.

Die NextCloud kalender is wel rete handig. Door #calDav hangt hij zo in een #iphone agenda en kun je die gebruiken om afspraken aan te passen en zo. Net zoals het met #OneCalendar op #Android werkt.
Nog steeds jammer dat #kleuren niet werken, maar ik heb inmiddels iedere kleur in een aparte agenda zitten.
Nog steeds op zoek naar een URL om afspraken in NextCloud te kunnen toevoegen.

Voor de telefoon ziet #OneCalendar er heel belovend uit. Ik kan verbinding maken met verschillende kalenders die allemaal ook netjes gesynchroniseerd worden.

Helaas weer zonder kleuren. Vreemd dat iedere applicatie je de mogelijkheid geeft om je agenda item een kleur te geven, maar dat die nooit wordt geëxporteerd.

Of mis ik ergens iets?

Endlich funktioniert die Synchronisation zwischen #OneCalendar und #Nextcloud. Tschüss, #Apple und #Google Kalender. 🥳

My 2nd mobile (testing purposes) has #LineageOS w/out GApps.

For Calendar I use #OneCalendar which handle CalDAV directly, #betterprivacy 'cause doesn't use phone calendar. And Contacts are synced via #DAVx5.
App updates are done via #Obtainium and #Aurora.

I erased my Google account on 7th January

Can anyone recommend a good Calendar app? I absolutely love OneCalendar but I can only use it on Windows, not Linux.

I have several diaries across a number of service (work related) and OneCalendar pulls them all into one calendar view. It supports all the services (like Gmail, Outlook, Office, CalDav, etc).

I need something I can use when I am working on a Linux Desktop -- an app? I will use an online service if I have to! I don't need email, just something to view an amalgamated calendar.

Da will man auf #Nextcloud Kalender mit #OneCalendar umsteigen, nur um dann zu erfahren, dass es einen schwerwiegenden Synchronisationsfehler gibt, welcher erst im Januar behoben wird.
