An enjoyable guided history walk taking in Ogmore Castle, Merthyr Mawr, New inn, the Dipping bridge and Hut 9 prisoner of war camp. A cold nudging my #MEcfs symptoms (more) awake means I haven't been for a #wander for a couple of weeks and so haven't posted anything for a while. But managed a quick walk to #OgmoreCastle today where a lot of the #horses seemed to be in a slightly argumentative (or maybe frisky) mood.

Took an evening stroll from #MerthyrMawr village to #OgmoreCastle. Saw my first #Swallows of the year, unfortunately moving too fast for a photo. A high tide meant that the #EwennyRiver was perfectly still, covering the stepping stones and giving almost perfect reflections of the castle
