With Omnivore closing down, there's no need for me to use Obsidian. I had a decent system with both of them working together.

This might upset a few Obsidian users. I think the iPhone and iPad experience is not good compared to the desktop experience.

How many times will I have to re-enable plugins or re-install them? Obsidian for mobile needs a new approach.

I’ve switched TickTick for my task management. Apple Reminders will has my routine reminders as a fail safe.

@fernandogros For the last couple of years I’ve gone back to paper for my planning and task lists, and I use #obsdmd for project notes (and ancillary text snippets) and #DevonThink for project filing.

This means I can do long writing at my desk with my clicky keyboard and big screen, while my proofreading, editing, giving feedback on student work, refereeing and marking all happen on my iPad using the Apple Pencil. This rhythm seems to work well for me.
