  5. Sometimes a bird will land in an ideal spot (today it was a Bewick's Wren, in fact a pair of them) but it is on a fence, and pointing your long lens at them also looks directly in a house window - making you look like a peeping tom. Do you take the shot? So here is a picture of a cat. #NotaBird

  7. A few lifers at Las Gallinas for me yesterday, this White-tailed Kite didn't come too close, but looked incredible in the early morning sun. The Botta's Pocket Gopher #NotaBird was a lot closer. #Birds 🪶 #Photography #BirdPhotography #FujiFilm #XT5

  10. So this #squirrel has outwitted me again. They had managed to get around the dome baffle, so I hung it on a chain so they couldn’t reach. But they have a technique that involves stretching down the chain as far as they can then ‘gracefully’ sliding over the top of the dome and dropping off, hoping to catch hold of the peanut feeder as they fall. 9 times out of 10 I’ve watched them miss, but occasionally they are successful and cling on tight, even while swinging wildly in the wind.
