Finally visited my neighbor James Monroe at his resting place in Richmond today. He passed on and was buried while visiting NYC on July 4th. He was not aware that former Presidents dying on July 4th would be a thing. NWS expanded the freeze watch further east and south, to now include part of the Richmond area (mostly west of I-95). Still a bit skeptical of temps dropping below 38º in the #RVA but we’ll see. At any rate, it’s just for one morning, we’ll quickly warm up the rest of the week.

Mid 80s today under mostly sunny skies, then a weak front crosses the region tomorrow morning with just a few light showers that’ll be out of here before noon; 60s the next few days, then temperatures will be a bit of a roller coaster at times, as is typical of March, but I’m not seeing anything colder than the 50s for highs (40s for lows) as of now.
