  1. Po koncertě rovnou do studia. Na obalu matka s malým Troyem, u mikrofonů i bubeníci z jeho někdejší školy. Příběh alba Lifted sleduje Trombone Shortyho tam, kde své písně skládá a kde hledá spoluhráče: v New Orleans.

  2. #Milo Yiannopolous an alt-right outrage activist who previously called for #ICE checkpoints in supermarkets and other common areas and “on the spot deportation for anyone who can’t prove they are in the US legally” is apparently facing deportation currently in a #NOLA detention cell according to #DHS

Fellow #FarRight freak #LauraLoomer, who has publicly feuded with #Yiannopoulos, said in a #MelonHusk #socialmedia post that she personally snitched him out to #Feds.

the immigration and Customs Enforcement said Yiannopoulos legally entered the U.S. May 14, 2019, but “chose to overstay". The UK citizen left a job editing #Breitbart after condoning pedophilia and is also a past intern for Marjorie Taylor Greene.

  3. Will wonders never cease.

I'm not going to say this is a good thing because it isn't. But if something shitty is going to happen to someone, at least it's happening to someone who has been working hard to make so many shitty things happen to other people for so long.

"when experts suggest abandoning New Orleans, we have to ask: Whose city is considered worth saving? What is being framed as inevitability is, in many ways, future-framed environmental racism. But what if we refused that frame?" - Maddison Wells

  8. Happy Native American Heritage Month!

To celebrate, we have uploaded and released 9 of Dr. Tammy Greer's 2022 Library of Congress Community Collection project interviews that we featured on our 2023 Indigenous Gulf Stream. Her project's name is "And We Are Still Here: Indigenous Culture Bearers of Houma Communities".

The interviews are near the top in a playlist entitled "Library of Congress Interviews 2023". Enjoy!
