Awww. Kinda like me and Pascal. 😄

The thing that makes me interested* in Forth is threefold:

1. I first heard about it when playing the old Star Trek game "The Transinium Challenge" on the Macintosh, whose about screen proudly stated that it was created in "MacFORTH: The language of the future!" or something like that. That got me intrigued early on. ;)
2. A lot of #permacomputing projects like #uxn, #DuskOS, and (IIRC) #CollapseOS are either based on, or inspired by #Forth.
3. The thing I [love] about my current preferred language, Unix Shell (POSIX, ksh, mksh, and bash) is how so many little bits of code can stack on top of each other and inter-operate. That's not so much by design, but by praxis. My understanding is that is how Forth works by design.

* Please let me set some realistic expectations. I have #ADHD. There are a billion things I'm interested in. #IYKYK 🤣😭

@Dianora A doubling Thomas Tallis orchestra?! #IYKYK #BaroqueSun (I actually played that one many years ago) You could hear an organ that wasn't there pop up in the middle of both "orchestras" (not a euphemism)
