After a couple of months of using the Tomir 2.0 shoes from Nnormal, I found that the laces still undo themselves, even if double-knotted and hidden away under a pair of trail gaiters.
I thus ordered a pair quick-laces to try them out. These are remiscent of the Salomon quick lacing system, although with a slightly larger diameter.
After a bit of fiddling I managed to work out how to put the laces back through the locking pieces.
The Decathlon laces are slightly shorter than the Nnormal-supplied laces and I had the skip a set of holes to get it to work properly. I just hope I skipped the right set, but I'll soon find out when I am trail this week.

I wrote previously of new models I was going try out - https://mountains.social/@ysb33r/112758426484647248.
In the end I did not buy any of them, I settled for the Nnormal Tomir 2.0 W instead.

It is supposed to be waterproof, but it is not Goretex. Will have to see how that deal with small streams.
What sold it for me is:
- The width. I have no pressure of my little toes on either side.
- The stride. I was running up and down in the shop with every pair I tried on, but the stride comfort was way beyond anything else. Some shout outs to:
- La Sportiva Spire: beautiful built shoes, if only it did not pressure the right little toe.
- Salewa Mtn Trainer: Sturdy, but too stiff.
- Arcteryx Aerios: Was close, but got beaten stride.
