Thought it'd be fun to share some of the #music I've been listening to with Fedi in a selfish bid to start a trend whereby I can find new music.
My inaugural #MusicMondays begins with Jacques Brel's (brace yourself) "Comment tuer l’amant de sa femme quand on a été élevé comme moi dans la tradition". That translates to "How do you kill your wife's lover when you've had a traditional upbringing?"
It's a silly song with a sillier melody, but it has me singing every time.

Today is #MusicMonday day, the first of 2023. So let's celebrate it with "O Namorico do André" (André's flirtation). The song is sang by the Fado band "Fado Bicha" (Queer Fado or Gay Fado) and tells the love story of André, a fishmonger in the Mercado da Ribeira (the most famous market in Lisbon) and Chico, the fisherman André is in love with and loves him back. But, André's parents oppose their love affair.
For Music Monday I am listening to the stereo DSD version of Arnesen's Magnificat by Nidarosdomens Jentekor and TrondheimSolistene (Nidaros Cathedral Girls' Choir and Trondheim Soloists).
