Aujourd’hui je vous emmène dans un saphir du passé, toujours présent et certainement au rendez-vous du futur. On part en 1998 dans l’univers de Peter Ulrich. A la croisée des chemins des ères Rock, Folk et Expérimentales des 80’s, porté et architechturé en MIDI par la technologie d’une époque avec le Yamaha CX5M, le séquencer qui permis à Brendan Perry (Peter fût le batteur de #DCD 10 ans) de synthétiser et surtout structurer les parties inimmitables de cordes et flûtes de leurs premiers opus qu'il faisait dans son appartement HLM au 13e étage d'une tour à Millwall.
Un album magique, une pure merveille, mieux qu'une DeLorean volante.

Etre énervé contre Redbubble qui supprime une de mes œuvres sur ma boutique. Faire des grands gestes tout en jurant et renverser mon verre d'eau sur mon clavier. Laisser s’égoutter ce dernier à la verticale contre l'écran pour éponger le bureau (quelle merveilleuse idée!). Inonder la rallonge multiprises. Faire tout disjoncter. Tout débrancher. Réenclencher le disjoncteur. Changer de multiprise. Tout rebrancher. Prier pour que mon PC veuille bien se rallumer. Appuyer sur le bouton de démarrage. Constater que rien ne se passe 😱 . Faire un AVC ☠️ ... Ah, non, j'avais juste oublié l'interrupteur à l'arrière du boitier 😓 !...

Do you have one strictly dominant hand? (Whether left or right). Are you ambidextrous, meaning you can use either hand for any activity equally well? Or are you mixed-handed, also known as having cross-dominance? Meaning you favour one hand for certain tasks and the opposite hand for others.

I grew up thinking I was some off-brand of ambidextrous, not having heard of cross-dominance until my late 20s. I write with my left but am naturally inclined to use my right for a lot of other tasks. It appears there may be a link between both left-handedness and ‘atypical handedness’ in general and being autistic. I also suspect I have undiagnosed dyspraxia which, who knows, may be connected.

My Mum, younger sister and I are all left-handed (as well as being ND) but I don’t actually know anyone that is mixed-handed.

Would you mind feeding my curious brain?
