I really enjoyed using #MoaParty to keep my personal and business #Mastodon and #Twitter accounts sync’ed. Thanks to the Twitter API changes, that option is now gone. Does anyone have any tips (even just #clientside ones) to streamline keeping the profiles updated without just doubling the work?

I couldn't care less about the #TwitterAPI failure, except for getting a good laugh out of it. FLASH NEWS for those still on the Musky hellsite: IT'S JUST GOING TO GET WORSE. GET OUT NOW.

Ironically, #moaparty is still mirroring my posts to #RIPTwitter successfully, so the desperate can try using #Mastodon + #Nitter as a 3rd party Twitter client.

For messages you post, there's bridges like moa.party that let you post to Mastodon and automatically have it posted to Twitter.

But if you mean your feed (i.e. people you follow), I don't think either of the websites make that possible. I don't know if there's some third party app that combines and displays both feeds though, it's possible but I haven't heard about it 🤷‍♂️

Okay, I tried two Mastodon to Twitter crossposting apps now, and they just don't work. Latest attempt with #moaparty ... nothing, niente, zilch 😟
What am I doing wrong?

I tried Moa on Twitter lists and it didn't work at all.

Anyone know how to make it work?

I have been able to log in before, but now it won't get that far.
"There was a problem connecting to the mastodon server. The error was Invalid access token or redirect_uris: ('Mastodon API returned error', 400, 'Bad Request', 'invalid_grant')"

Twitter is heading down the road Facebook took. It's bad with facts, useless in that regard.

Now it's no longer fun either. That's why I moved fully to Mastodon and use a Twitter Bridge #moaparty

I’ve just installed a new Mastodon client, Metatext, to support multiple accounts, including actually monitoring / replying to @moaparty posts ;)

We never ended up doing a good job of finding developers to do (paid) work on it, but that’s always been the plan. The timing may be good now ;)
