Hundreds of thousands of By-the-wind-sailors (Velella velella; which are an unusual floating colonial athecate hydroid) just blanketing Asilomar this morning 🤯 They're making the waves *thick* with their doomed corpses. There was also a bonus Gulfweed Crab (Planes minutus) hanging around.

Here's the first document I ever laid out.
Level Up: Advanced Fifth Edition talks about the Gorgons becoming cursed by a dying god. So, in order to make it so player characters can be made as a heritage I used the unique paragon gift and the scaling proficiency bonus to give them a death stare which goes literal at level 10.
The Medusa myth is about hubris at its heart and this returns there, with a twist. 😀
