    Das Design ist möglicherweise von Jack Williamsons "Three from the Legion" (1980) inspiriert. Das Titelbild der ersten Ausgabe zeigt eine Kreatur aus der Geschichte, die "Medusae", die eine Art elefantengroßer, vieräugiger Qualle mit hunderten Tentakeln ist.

  10. CW: Eye contact, from Medusa no less!

    Here's the first document I ever laid out.

    Level Up: Advanced Fifth Edition talks about the Gorgons becoming cursed by a dying god. So, in order to make it so player characters can be made as a heritage I used the unique paragon gift and the scaling proficiency bonus to give them a death stare which goes literal at level 10.

    The Medusa myth is about hubris at its heart and this returns there, with a twist. 😀
