First outing with my new #pride shirt.
Today we had a critical mass #bicycle ride for pride. We were actually sub-critical in numbers, but it was great fun, with a sound track that hasn't been updated since the 90s. Main pride events next weekend.
A few years ago, I wouldn't have bothered wearing a T-shirt with a large Star of David. But pride is also about celebrating diverse identities, and in the past few years, celebrating #Jewish identities has been more difficult.

Some days this captures the mood.
How do you know / Tzipporah
In a dream of a dark room lit by candlelight
In an empty house in the dead of night
My ancestors came to me one by oneSlowly, they came into view
Familiar faces, faces that were new
Recent and from times long goneSome had dark skin, some had skin that was light
Some wore ‘hatan’ some had ‘peyot’
They asked what troubled my mind
I told them what had become of my homeAnd I said, “How do you know when it’s time to leave?
What are the signs that you need to flee?
How do you find the strength to leave your home
And everything you’ve ever known?
How do you know when it’s time to leave?”- from the album Tales of the Diaspora

Among the joys of being #Jewish is that in some years, like #2024, you get to say,
The #holidays are late this year!
Leaving everyone else scratching their heads and reaching for their #calendars. -
1. Jewish right to not face antisemitism IS human right.
2. An organization with history of antisemitism reinterpreted definition of antisemitism to claim it says something completely different. Cool.
3. The fact antisemitic students were censored using IHRA definition isn’t a meaningful argument to banish IHRA definition.
4. Several examples mention Israel for a reason #antisemitism #mazldon https://twitter.com/hrw/status/1643101669973000193 -
UK. Century number 21. Antisemitism still going strong. Jews are kicked out from a pub for being Jewish.

Remarkable. Fascist Russia is bombing Ukrainian cities every day. Yet this bunch of Ukrainians found time and put their efforts into producing a traditional antisemitic Christmas show with a new twist. Jews (actually “kikes”) are being blamed for lack of electricity and for speculating on the war.

Ken Roth and his supporters claim that he was rejected by Harvard for “criticizing Israel”. Its a lie. Roth has been obsessed. https://elderofziyon.blogspot.com/2023/01/an-analysis-of-ken-roths-tweets-prove.html He also f-d up HRW,as noted by the founder. https://www.nytimes.com/2009/10/20/opinion/20bernstein.html. While I don’t know why Harvard rejected Roth, his problem wasn’t “criticism”. The problem was unfairness, lies and obsession. #Mazldon #Jewish #Israel #Harvard.

@protecttruth Are you denying that AIPAC = American citizens? If not, what exactly is your problem other than having a different point of view? Is it just the “dual loyalty” canard? Do you have the same problem with other groups? Let’s say Armenians…

1. Year 2022. “Never again” is still only an aspiration, work in progress. Many amazing people across the globe have contributed to the fight. Yet Rachel Riley stands out.
She really didn’t have to make it her fight. British TV personality had a career of universal adoration, happy family life and public persona wealth in front of her. She wasn’t directly impacted by antisemitism until after she picked up the fight. And yet she did.

Unfortunate. Prof went to the media before publishing peer reviewed papers. A sure sign of a fabrication. King Hezekiah left evidence but this isn’t it. #histadon #jewishhistory #mazldon
