Ok.
The thing I have seen in #TimWalz that I haven't seen from any of the other VP candidates is he is not in any way intimidated or cowed or baffled by #Trump or the #Weird #GOP that we need to defeat. He doesn't bother to try to appeal to them. He knows they are deranged and just need to be overwhelmed. I respect #MayorPete. I respect #BetoORoarke, they also are good on their feet and say much of the same things. I haven't heard this from Governor Shapiro.

Going to prepare myself for the worst on Tuesday. She's announcing her VP pick in Philly which hints that she's picked Josh #Shapiro as her VP, which will throw so much cold water on her enthusiasm from her more pro-Gaza side, considering he is a ardent Zionist and called the anti-genocide protestors the same as the KKK. Also worried she's going to pick Mark Kelly which is a terrible idea because if you have a beloved senator in a swing state, removing them with a senate this tight is a great way to lose the senate. The replacement will keep going until 2026 at which point they might lose the seat. Kelly is so loved there he can't lose the seat so leave him there. Otherwise I don't care who #kamala2024 picks but it CAN'T be those two, or we could lose the senate or lose the white house if enough people have their emotions retriggered by associating #Harris2024 with #genocidejoe . As my governor #Shapiro is actually a really good governor, but he should not get near international politics until he's had a serious wake up call about the genocide in Gaza and publicly denounces it. The younger generation is not going to forgive anyone who actively supports it. I also don't want to risk a clear vitory for the senate. The best choices are Walz, Beshear and #mayorpete or Whitmer if Kamala could convince her. Anyway, bracing myself for the enthusiasm to hit a brick wall tuesday and hoping that the announcement in Philly doesn't indicate who she's picking as running mate -
Two things stand out to me...
1) So glad he used the word "cult" (because that's what the #GOP is now days).
2) Very odd that while he's describing #Trump incoherent antics, #FoxNews shows a series of stills of #Biden... WTF?!

#kamala2024 s #vicepresident pick has to be either #MayorPete or Andy #Bashear if her internal polls match hers. Kelly would be perfect but we can't risk losing a senate seat, which his departure might well cause. Pete is a cabinet member so there will be no congressional loss and Andy has a Lt Gov ready to take over the second he steps down.

@rogersherman I think #Kamala and #MayorPete is the best combination but I'm not sure that the #USA is ready for it (which is a big part of the problem I admit).
I also wouldn't mind a #Kamala #Newsome ticket but I'm afraid that the rest of the country would balk at two Californians.
I also love Porter, Booker and AOC, but those tickets have their own problems. -

Me: If you asked me today, I'd say that I don't approve of President Biden ATM. Even if I acknowledge that he may have accomplished more in his first term, I've soured on his Kowtowing to Netanyahu. That doesn't mean I wouldn't crawl over broken glass to cast my vote for Biden over #tRunt. Would I rather have #MayorPete running in The General Election? Yes, but I'd still vote for Biden given the chance. -
Christmas rush at MCO airport and half of the TSA scanning stations are closed.
Actually, 7 out of 16 in terminal B are shut down. That's close enough to half when you're standing in line all day.
