Es muss irgendein (oder mehrere) Safari Fenster oder Tab(s) gewesen sein. Ich habe jetzt zig URLs in eine Obsidian-Liste kopiert (Sammlungen thematisch) und mehrere Fenster geschlossen. Jetzt hält der Akku wieder wie er soll.

🤔 dennoch merkwürdig weil dieselben Fenster und Tabs hatte ich mit #macOS14 vorher auch offen. Irgendetwas hat #macOS15 dazu veranlasst, CPU/GPU auf diese Tabs zu vergeuden auch wenn sie im anderen Space liegen. Merkwürdiges Verhalten https://troet.cafe/@nSonic/115621025147862520

- 1x Drucken aus LrC: Alle Einstellungen gewählt (Printfab, Papiereinzug, …) => alles fein
- 2. Bild gewählt, wieder Drucken…

Ach Apple ey, lass mich als User doch entscheiden wie (un-)sicher ich mein System benötige. Ein paar boot-disks mit div Versionen zu haben wäre mir lieber als das wissen, dass niemand Unfug treibt wenn die Person das Gerät UND mein Passwort hat 😒

Wenn ich ein MaxBook Air M1 von #macos12 auf #macos14 bringen möchte und vorher ein #backup machen möchte das ich auch verlässlich zurück spielen (oder davon booten?) könnte: CCC noch das Mittel der Wahl? Erfahrungen zum Thema davon booten? Apple hat doch alle simplen Wege unmöglich gemacht, oder?

Link zu einem InstallAssistant.pkg gefunden für #macos14 .6.1 - schon 1,8 GB … das läuft bisher flott

Versuche #macos14 Sonoma an einem MacBook Pro (Intel) herunterzuladen … mit einer Akkuladung schafft der das nicht … noch ungefähr 8 Stunden (es waren schon 6 … dann 7 …) 😩

1.01 GB von 13,66 hat er schon und nein an meiner Leitung liegt es nicht - es ist der der Download in den Settings … alter … gibt es den installer nicht zum direkten Download schneller? 🤔

Kennt jemand ein gutes MacOS Forum und ich such einen SSH Clienten, am liebsten GUI kanna ber only Console sein ;D

So, it turns out that in #macOS 14 #Sonoma, if you have a NSPopUpButton, and use removeFromSuperview and then later addSubview to add that item again to a view, macOS doesn't draw the button properly, until it gets clicked at least once.

(setting up said Popup is very expensive, as in "slow", in the app in question, so for 15 years, it was a working idea to keep it around)

Awesome.

Yet another #bug in the long long list of massive problems in the #AppKit system frameworks in #macOS14.

Nooo...

MacBook hat sich auf Sonoma 14.1.1 geupdatet und seither (?) bricht die Internetverbindung ca 2min nach Start ab.
