I worked from a London library today. In the 4 hours I was there I chatted with a chap that has nowhere to live, “paid it forward” at the cafe and loaned my phone charger to a chap for whom English wasn’t a first language.

Over the years, I have spent more on books than I probably should have done, but have borrowed many from the local library as well.
I recall reading, and enjoying, several books by Frank Yerby long ago. I am sure they are in the class known as Romance, though I had no idea back then, and didn't care, I guess.
Long out of print, I cannot typically find them in library catalogs these days.
