Improving Linux On Desktop, day 4. Disaster Recovery.
While setting up ZFS (see Day 1-3), introduced `nomodeset` into kernel options for debug. Turns out, nomodeset breaks USB-C dock hotplug if the dock is plugged while initramfs is booting up - replugged, it won't be seen. Drop `nomodeset` and it works as it did. Whoa. #Linux #LinuxOnDesktop -
