Liferea is a "classic" GNOME reader, so its UI is better than Newsflash. On the other hand, it might be abandoned, it hasn't been updated since 2023.
Loaded my OPML file no problem, supports folders, seems to work fine.

Finally caught and reported this longstanding higgs-bugson crasher issue in #Liferea that had been haunting me forever: https://github.com/lwindolf/liferea/issues/1424
I should have reported this a long time ago, but back then, I did not have 1% of the #QA debugging experience I have accumulated from #opensource contributions over the past 20 years 🫠

Ich liebe meinen #RSS-Reader #Liferea gerade sehr. Hab dort ja auch (fast) alles, was das Herz begehrt: Nachrichten, Blogs, Podcasts. Mittlerweile sogar ein paar Mastodon- und Bluesky-Accounts. Videos kommen noch rein, wahrscheinlich. Und dann dieser integrierte Webbrowser. Und meine Ordnerstruktur... Hach, schön! :ablobcatheartsqueeze:

Vielleicht weniger ein Einsteiger- und mehr ein Fortgeschrittenen-Thema. Zum Thema RSS siehe auch:

wird https://norden.social/@celeo.rssDies läßt sich dann in einen #Feedreader einbinden, z.B. #Liferea oder auch #Flym oder #Feeder.
Leider hat sich die RSS-Umsetzung von #Mastodon meiner Meinung nach im Lauf der Zeit (3.x-Serie) verschlechtert.
