Welchen #Feedreader nimmt man denn aktuell für #linux? Will's standalone haben, nicht in Browser oder Mail-Client.
Nutze bisher #liferea, aber der zickt jetzt rum bei einer einfachen HTTP-Basic Authentifizierung. Vielleicht Zeit, nach 15+ Jahren mal was neues auszuprobieren.

#Linux Annoyance: It's annoying when an application you've used for years changes something and becomes less useful and unappealing.
E.g., #Liferea, the #RSS app. The version #Ubuntu is shipping with 25.10 appears to have eliminated the user's ability to specify font and font size used in its display of individual items. Text is now very small and centered in excessive white space. Text can be dumbly scaled up and down if the user discovers an otherwise unidentified right-click option.

Liferea is a "classic" GNOME reader, so its UI is better than Newsflash. On the other hand, it might be abandoned, it hasn't been updated since 2023.
Loaded my OPML file no problem, supports folders, seems to work fine.
