From "it won't be much cheaper" it went to "cost the same or more" as soon as I realized most things are not sold in the quantities I need, so I need to buy extra. And deal with the leftovers.
Factor in the new taxes in EU when buying from Aliexpress, I'm going to be paying more for an inferior product since the 8bitdo has wireless connection and costs about the same I'd pay to build my own fightstick.
I still want to build one to measure at some point, but I really don't think it makes sense to do it now.

I am squarely between playing on arcade stick and using leverless and it is the most uncomfortable point with controls for me. I really like leverless, I feel like I’m typing on a laptop. Stick is what I’ve known forever. But I CANNOT reliably DP on leverless and it suuucks.
