Well, guess I might as well do my #introduction post here.
I’m a #lansdcape and #wildlife #photgrapher focused primarily on the beauty and diversity of #Appalachia, and reside in #Tennessee.
I decided to migrate here to mastodon due to the recent decline in genuine interactions on other sites like Instagram/tik tok, whose algorithms have become king of pushing “template” style videos/AI content rather than photography from small up & coming artists. Excited to connect with new folks!

Decent weather, so dad and I went for a drive over to the other side of the Campsie Hills, where you can get a view of Ben Lomond in the distance, the most southerly of the Munros.
Took some shots with the big camera's zoom to upload later.
