I made some progress on my web based game this weekend - I also gained insight as to how I want to work on the UI for the game - My game will be like a web based version of Quest Master only the emphasis is on social networking https://store.steampowered.com/app/2094070/Quest_Master/ I'm also using #kaplay the new fork of #kaboomjs -- here's my alpha site https://kaplay-test-002.puter.site/

I love #kaboomjs! It's soo easy to create (or extend) existing components! 💛
Like, I've wrote a letter-by-letter writing text util, then I've extended it to clear current text, wait given time and write new one (yeah, it's silly-simple example, but still, I love how easy it was to implement 🙌!)

Hi fellow #indiegamedev 's!
I do wonder, how do you come up with the idea of your game's Title Screens?
I've just created a first draft of my new (in development) game made with #kaboomjs 🙌 - but I'm not exactly satisfied with the title logo and I do wonder how to do it differently 🤔
Any tips? -
When I've announced my rewrite of Boink! game to #kaboomjs I've realized that I've forgot to add magnets from original game - but it took me only 15minutes to do this! 🙌 I do really live that library! 💛

Good morning Fediverse (we really need a better name!) I hope that you find something amazing to discover today! For me I’m going to try to jump start my #denweaver stuff with more work on using #kaboomjs to render the player and get them walking around.
I hope to get a new laptop for Christmas and boost my ability to work while not at my desk. My current laptop basically only works when plugged in as the battery has stopped taking a charge.

Making a Game in JavaScript with No Experience by @Goodgis
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r9I4DuGmJ2Y -
Today starts a new chapter in my #gamedev journey - I'm working on #denweaver, and I'm going to use the #kaboomjs library to render stuff. So today I start learning KaboomJS!

I just spent an hour trying to reproduce a glitch I saw in #kaboomjs and see that it's fixed in the latest version ... guess it was a good exercise!

Today after many weeks, I've finally got some part of #denweaver done that actually looks like a 'game' - One of the main things you'll be doing is building a little home for yourself that others can visit. Here's a early prototype of that using the latest #kaboomjs https://watch.screencastify.com/v/k5yE9fnjk8wV9EJGBL5A

@MrShoggoth I started out using #godotengine but I'm switching gears to make it wholly web using #astrojs and #kaboomjs
