Wtf? Like how do you even use a 512-bit RSA key these days??? That's not even the default option on most things, you have to *set* it to that.
The article says that the developers might not know but here's a take: if you want to change the default options, you should at least know what those options are. If they'd gone 'yeah i set security to "off" but how was I to know that was insecure???' then no one would take THAT seriously.
